Meet the Team

My name is Bear Bronaugh, and I am the the founder of Full Armor Outfitters. I’m currently an active duty Soldier in the United States Army stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I have served our beautiful country for 19 years and retirement is within grasp. I am 39 years old, and I was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX, where I currently reside. I married my high school sweetheart, Marissa, and together we have been blessed with three amazing children: Ava, Gavin, and Alivia. Some of my interests and hobbies include: hunting, fishing, weight lifting, spending time with family, volunteering, and anything outdoors. I fell in love with hunting and fishing at a very young age and being in the outdoors is where I always feel most at peace.

Once retired, I hope to make Full Armor Outfitters a full time volunteer position. My passion has slowly shifted from military life to a new focus. I now feel my purpose is to give back to the community and be a servant to our military veterans, first responders, medical professionals, and youth who have selflessly sacrificed so much for our country.

My focus now is getting our brothers and sisters in arms connected. With these relationships, we can help each other achieve long-term wellness and substantial personal growth, as well as provide emotional support. Our events help promote mental and spiritual healing and allow our Heroes to engage in fellowship and camaraderie. The need for this is clear as the suicide rate amongst military veterans is at an all-time high with 22 vets, succumbing to suicide each day. It takes a community to heal a warrior. We are that community. Together, we will work to lower that number to zero!

I, too carry heavy burdens from war. We vets tend to suffer in silence, but I aim to put an end to that. I harbored guilt, shame, trauma, depression, and PTSD for a very long time before I admitted that I needed help. I want us to stop the stigma that it’s weak for men and women to seek help and be vulnerable. I believe life change happens best in circles and that person-to-person interaction leads to meaningful growth, and we promote this with all of our events. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me. I hope, through Full Armor, we can foster a relationship in the future and help those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
